It is Molycop’ s objective to make a lasting, positive contribution to the societies and communities in which we operate. We actively seek to create and maintain mutually beneficial relationships by understanding and maximizing the positive influence we can have on local development.
During the month of February, we will shine a spotlight on some of the special organizations that Molycop has supported over the years. We hope through sharing these stories, we are able to highlight the great work and humility of these organizations and in doing so encourage others to learn a little bit more about their mission and if possible lend your support to these worthwhile organizations in any way you can.
Our first story focuses on Sheffield Place. Opened in 1991 as a community response to the growing population of homeless mothers and their children in the Kansas City Area. Sheffield Place has assisted more than 1,200 families in making the difficult journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Empowering families to heal from the often significant and continuous trauma they have experienced in order to help them in the process of achieving self-sufficiency.
