The company, based in Abidjan on the southern Atlantic coast of West Africa, specialises in the production of concrete reinforcing bars and grinding balls from cast iron scrap. As the leading manufacturer of FE500 concrete reinforcing bars in West Africa, the company has been involved in major construction projects for several years, manufacturing products whose quality has been certified by major international players in the construction and public works sector.
The company uses local scrap metal, which accounts for 77.27% of its total purchases between 2021 and 2023. As the first scrap metal processing unit in the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) zone, it makes an effective contribution to major construction projects by supplying more than 50,000 high-quality finished products.
Acieries de Cote D’Ivoire complies with environmental standards and is equipped with a fume decontamination and treatment unit.
