We’re committed to finding ways to reduce, reuse and recycle

Molycop works side-by-side with our partners to embed sustainable  processes that provide a better future for all. And we lead by example in utilising recycled materials and investing in energy-efficient processes in our own operations.

A commitment to resource recovery is embedded at every level of our company. It means moving away from a ‘take, make and dispose’ model of consumption towards a Circular Economy model that keeps products and raw materials in use for longer through recycling, repairing, repurposing and reusing.

The Circular Economy in action

We offer waste management and resource recovery solutions for our business clients and all levels of government on east coast New South Wales, Australia. Our services cover products including end-of-life tyres, mattresses, motor vehicles, conveyor belts and more.  Scrap steel generated can be transformed into new steel products.

Commercialising Biochar technology is the next step in our decarbonisation strategy. In addition to fully displacing carbon at Waratah, we are implementing plans to produce Biochar at scale for emission reductions beyond our own steel production.
