Kaye Vandendaele has followed her dream to work with remote villages in Panama with Global Brigades.
We would like to introduce you to Kaye Vandendaele. She is a third-year student at the University of Missouri, with ambitions of becoming a doctor in the not-too-distant future.
For most students her age, the Christmas break is a time of rest and recovery, especially considering the last two years. Kaye had grander ambitions, following a year of intense personal fundraising, with a little help from Molycop and our packaging partner – Rapid Packaging. Kaye was able to raise enough money to fly to Panama with Global Brigades to work in remote villages to develop and implement various health infrastructure projects.
We wish Kaye the best of luck and look forward to receiving her updates from Panama.
A big thank you to the entire team in North America for supporting this great initiative and bringing us the story. A personal thank you to Geoffrey Veytia Sandra Moore and most importantly Shane Vandendaele (Kaye’s very proud Dad) for letting us know about Kaye and her wonderful work with Global Brigades.
