Hugh McRae, a Steelmaking Shift Team Leader at our Plant in Newcastle, Australia, was recognised as a finalist in ‘The Rising Star’ Category of the Hunter Manufacturing Awards 2020.
The Rising Star category recognises employees who display exceptional leadership attributes with less than 5 years’ experience in the industry who are having a positive impact on the business in which they are employed. It may be an apprentice or trainee, a university graduate, operators, or general workers who have demonstrated commitment to the business, ideas, drive and strong personal values.
