Molycop receives Gold Seal Energy Efficiency Award for its Talcahuano and Mejillones plants in Chile.
32 companies in Chile were recently recognized for their ongoing efforts to improve their energy consumption and efficiency in manufacturing, by the Department of Energy and the Department of Sustainability. In total, these companies saved over 90,000 tonnes of CO2, the equivalent CO2 consumption of 1.5 million trees over 10 years.
Molycop achieved the highest rating of Gold in the field of Energy Efficiency for our Talcahuano and Mejillones. Congratulations to Gustavo and the rest of our team in Chile on the award and their ongoing efforts in the space of energy efficiency and sustainability.
