As a reward to its employees for their commitment to following safety protocols as well as support small local businesses. Molycop gave its of each of its 500 workers a $50 voucher to spend at a local Newcastle business.
Molycop Australasia President, Michael Parker, “Many of them are facing more difficult circumstances than us’, he said, adding the company would pay the businesses directly then allow employees to draw on the sum. It is anticipated the initiative would inject a total of about $30,000 in eight business nominated by staff.
