A relative newcomer to his role, we spoke with him about his ambitions for Molycop and what excites him about the upcoming Molycop Tools event.
Tell us about your background. What led you to join Molycop as an account manager six months ago?
I was attracted to Molycop's customer-centric nature and the way the organisation continually advances its offering to adapt to market conditions.
What motivates you in your day-to-day work?
I’m inspired to develop offerings that incorporate a large variety of products and services that create value for Molycop’s customers. I want to integrate site-based value into Molycop’s offering to its customers through technical support, training facilities and access to leading technology.I want to take a bespoke approach to each customer across their product supply, supply chain management, stock management, technical support and technologies.
How does the upcoming Molycop Training event align with your goals? What value do you think it will bring customers?
I’ve been impressed with the Molycop Tools suite since starting with the business – it offers tremendous benefits for customers in how they can optimise their milling operations. I see the upcoming event as being a great way to focus on customers in western NSW and engage in a collaborative, informative and enjoyable experience in a relaxed format and venue.
I see my role as a key contact point to facilitate industry feedback to the business and ensure Molycop's research and development direction aligns with the needs of the industry.
How do you approach understanding customers’ unique challenges and ensuring Molycop delivers value?
Every customer has different needs. Once I have gained a detailed understanding of those needs and what challenges a customer faces, I look to develop a package offering that adds not just upfront value but also downstream benefits, including control and monitoring benefits, improving grind processes, and ensuring they have the technical support and training they need.
