Synopsis

In this presentation, we provide practical insights into a real-world case study at the Hidden Valley Gold and Silver Mine in Papua New Guinea. The case study outlines Molycop's successful optimisation of cyanide leaching circuits. Through the implementation of Mintek C² Meters, the mine discovered it could enhance efficiency, apply consistent elution stripping and realise substantial economic impacts.

Also explored is the strategic shift in carbon management, observing the transition from manual to high-frequency online measurements facilitated by the C² Meter. This ultrasound attenuation-based technology provides real-time insights into carbon concentration in slurry tanks.

A key focus is the seamless integration of C² Meters into plant control systems, resulting in improved silver recovery and a noteworthy reduction in new carbon addition rates. The case study not only highlights technological advancements but also emphasises a strategic move towards consistent gold recovery and operational excellence.

This presentation is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Molycop's gold processing solutions, drawing valuable insights from the Hidden Valley Gold and Silver Mine case study.
