Molycop Materials and Metallurgical Engineer Dr Hamid Pourasiabi will present the findings of his latest research at the ICAMEM 2024 conference in Dubai.

His presentation will feature on Day 2 of the three-day conference, which is being held 16–18 December 2024 in Dubai.
Dr Pourasiabi’s research looks at abrasive wear in mining and ore beneficiation operations, and how high-chromium WCIs can provide excellent abrasion resistance combined with satisfactory fracture toughness. His work summarises the outcomes of a comprehensive new product development (NPD) campaign involving a wide spectrum of high-chrome WCIs.Dr Pourasiabi will also chair two sessions at the conference and has acted as a Program Committee Member with responsibility for reviewing assigned submissions.
