Mejillones, September 7, 2023 - In line with our steadfast commitment to education, training, and local employment, we are delighted to mark the successful conclusion of the 90-hour "OS10 Security Guard" training course in the municipality of Mejillones. This initiative, designed to empower unemployed individuals in the community, is the fruit of a collaborative effort involving the Municipal Labor Information Office (OMIL) of Mejillones, OTIC ASIMET, and MOLYCOP Chile.

The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of not only the dedicated students but also the Mayor of Mejillones, the Regional Secretary of Labor and Social Security of Antofagasta, representatives from OTIC ASIMET, HERCOR CapacitaciĆ³n, and the esteemed Daniel Montero and Andrea Bocic, representing MOLYCOP at this momentous event.

This program successfully brought together a diverse group of 19 participants, comprising 18 women and 1 man. The emphasis on gender diversity within the course exemplifies our unwavering commitment to fostering equal opportunities and strengthening the participation of women in traditionally male-dominated sectors. Not only does this diversity enrich the learning experience, but it also brings us closer to achieving a more inclusive and equitable society.

This "OS10 Security Guard" training course is not merely a conclusion but a beginning—an opportunity for participants to embark on new career paths, build better futures, and make a positive impact on their lives and the broader community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those involved in this initiative, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to empowering individuals, promoting equal opportunities, and driving positive change within our society.
